The Qualicum School District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) is a district-wide group of parents and caregivers dedicated to ensuring families have a strong voice in public education.
All Qualicum School District (QSD) parents and caregivers are DPAC members. An elected DPAC Executive represent the shared interests and perspectives of families and school PACs across the district.
A District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) acts as the legislated parent voice at the school district level, advising the Board of Education on matters related to education. DPACs:
Advise the Board of Education on policies, initiatives, and educational issues.
Represent the collective voice of parents at the district level.
Connect and collaborate with school PACs, gathering input and feedback from across the district.
Advocate for students' well-being and success.
Facilitate communication between parents, schools, and district leadership.

Each School PAC has a DPAC Representative who attends DPAC meetings and votes on behalf of their school PAC. There are 11 DPAC Representatives, one from each school PAC:
