The Qualicum School District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) is a group of parents and caregivers from across the district who work together to ensure families have a strong, respected voice in public education.
All parents and caregivers in the district are members of DPAC, which is led by an elected Executive representing families and Parent Advisory Councils (PACs) from each school.
As the legislated parent voice, DPAC advises the Board of Education, advocates for parent involvement, and provides input on policies and priorities that impact students and families.
Your school’s voice matters! Each PAC is encouraged to send a representative to DPAC meetings so ideas and feedback from every school can be shared. Meetings are focused, welcoming, and (when possible!) kept to 90 minutes.
The Qualicum School District includes: Nanoose Bay, Bowser, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Coombs, Errington, French Creek and Lasqueti Island.
